While most of the developed world relies on technology to create things of beauty, India continues to nourish its labour of love-cloths, crafts, paintings and pottery, all produced by the sleight and dexterity of a trained hand. Morcrafts, or the Morarka Centre for Crafts, was founded in 1995, to celebrate the power of these unseen hands and ensure their survival through the turn of the century.
