Our Interiors

Mélange is located on the ground floor of a heritage building on Altamount Road, Mumbai. In designing the space we left much of the structure untouched. Flagstones of the old courtyard make up our flooring; 100 year old arches are the only things that break up the 1600 square foot space. Mélange's proprietor Sangita Kathiwada scoured the interiors of India for three months looking for beautiful but neglected objects with which to decorate the store. So we have wrought iron pieces from Limbdi palace, swinging salon doors that lead to the fitting room, and wood from old houses and abandoned railway sleepers to make up our furnishings. We hope the ambience this creates will enhance your shopping experience.
